Z! is a contemporary multi-disciplinary artist — Halász István, Hungary. The work is a material investigation of silence and absence: soundscape, generative visual, conceptual composition. The works do not celebrate themselves — they arrive slowly, depart slowly. The ARRIVAL opening exhibition begins in 2026 in six rooms (Threshold, Echo, Fragment, Interval, Absence, Oracle), in 13 languages, most also readable right-to-left. The works arrive continuously, never finished. Halász István also works as DJ Zalan! — music, club, audiovisual. The two characters intentionally live apart. byzalan.com

Arrival is not an event. It is a state. As you read this, you too are arriving — into the work, into yourself, somewhere. I have opened six spaces: threshold, echo, fragment, interval, absence, oracle. You need not walk them in order. The works themselves do not know when they will be complete — one already awaits you, another has not yet been born. Each is yours while you are there.
